The Operations Director is a key leader within NIF, working closely with the CEO. This role oversees key operational aspects, including program management, stakeholder engagement, budget management, and impact measurement. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of NIF's cohort program, pipeline development, and fostering relationships within the local lending system to advance BIPOC-owned businesses. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a demonstrated passion for social impact and a track record of operational success.
Communications and Operations Coordinator
The Communications and Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving the New Impact Fund's (NIF) mission to support BIPOC businesses in the Twin Cities. The Communications and Operations Coordinator will craft compelling and engaging marketing and recruitment emails, donor communications, and quarterly updates to our alumni. They will also support grant writing, event planning, and cohort events. This person will manage all financial gifts and pledges, ensuring compliance with internal policies. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong technology skills who is passionate about supporting small businesses and community development. They will also play a vital behind-the-scenes role, assisting the team with projects and research and ensuring seamless communication and coordination with participants, business owners, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the New Impact Fund. By ensuring accurate and timely financial record keeping, payroll processing, and reporting, the Bookkeeper provides essential support to the organization's mission of empowering BIPOC entrepreneurs. Their expertise in nonprofit accounting and dedication to compliance will safeguard the organization's assets and contribute to its long-term financial sustainability.
